I enjoyed the meeting a lot, and got to talk and get to know a few people better. That's another benefit of our gathering together. That being a part of a community, as well as sponging off the experience of others, is something I did not expect when I first considered lutherie. I began the obsession thinking of ways to patent new ideas and pump up my ego and bank account. Now, I still have the pride of wanting to be the first to try something, but if it works, I'll share it with the group as another way to skin that old cat!
